InfoQuest Representative Participates in Next Gen in Reform Leadership Initiative

InfoQuest staffer was honored to be selected as a participant in the Next Gen in Reform Leadership Initiative, a program that commenced with a series of virtual learning sessions and culminated in a regional youth symposium held in Abuja, Nigeria.

The week-long engagement brought together young leaders from fifteen (15) African countries to exchange ideas, share experiences, and collaboratively explore solutions to the democratic challenges facing the West African region. Through meaningful dialogue and interactive sessions, participants examined key themes including youth resilience and agency, coalition-building, strategic alliances, and the use of art and culture as powerful tools for civic engagement and amplifying youth voices.

The symposium provided a valuable platform for emerging leaders to strengthen their capacity, expand regional networks, and deepen their commitment to advancing democratic governance and citizen participation.

Reflecting on the experience, the participation reaffirmed the importance of leveraging available opportunities, resources, and platforms to drive meaningful change within communities and across the region.

InfoQuest extends its sincere appreciation to the West Africa Democracy Solidarity Network (WADEMOS) and the National Democratic Institute (NDI) for their continued investment in nurturing the next generation of leaders and creating spaces where young people can contribute to shaping a more democratic, inclusive, and resilient West Africa.
